"Temple of the Seven Screams" is a pretty good name for a level; unfortunately it is probably the best part of this one. This is a single level for Doom 2, in the Shores of Hell style.
The level is rather bland: there is not a lot of detail, nor is there any real theme or unifying style to the level. There are a couple of good rooms, but it takes more than that to make a good level. There were some texture misalignments, and one serious HOM/missing texture too.
The level is strange to play, because the weapons are very unbalanced. You get a lot of cells and the BFG, and rockets, and a few shells; be careful to save those shells for when you need them! There are a couple of good fights, but several major fights are wasted by giving the player the BFG and an invulnerability. There are also a lot of shoot-through walls used which can be irritating, though they do add to the difficulty and interest of some areas.
Overall this level fails to impress. More work needed, I think.
