NOSUN4 is a medium sized level for Doom 2, made up of 2 large underground caverns. It's a very surreal level, with jagged rocky ledges, contrasting lighting and some hellish decorations. The level has a really spooky and threatening feel throughout; the graphics alone were enough to make me nervous :-).
The level starts out with just a chainsaw; you certainly don't get an easy ride anywhere in this level. The great design makes for some great fights too; lets just say you have to watch your back ;-). Ammo and weapons and health are well judged as usual, so don't go wasting any.
The level progression is good, non-linear but easy to follow like all good levels, and there are secrets too. There is also a good use of the linedef type 666 to trigger the exit only once you finish off all the monsters in the final fight.
The NOSUN series just got even better with this level. Don't miss it!
