This is the fifth and final level in the excellent NOSUN series for Doom 2. True to its name it's another underground level. There is quite a mix of styles at this level; an underground base is the centre, but you start and finish in the underground caves and tunnels around the base.
There are some good looking places in this level, with some good attention to lighting. The early part of the level has a very gloomy, sinister feel, and the base itself has a nice box room, the shadows in particular are an excellent touch. However I didn't think the level as a whole reached the standard of some of the previous levels in the series.
As usual there is plenty of action in the level; ammo and traps are less of a problem for the player than at earlier levels in the series. There are good fights though, you certainly won't get bored playing this one through! The level progression is pretty linear though. The final fight is a real battle; you have to beat a load of revenants defending a rocket (I think) in a big open area; it's a pretty nifty fight.
Overall, it's another good level to finish the series. And what a classic this series is.
