Mindless senseless violence. Plain and simple! declares the text file. Based around a building containing a central yard, Simply Simple is certainly a fairly short level, but not at all straightforward. You start in the center of the level, surrounded by sergeants and imps and targetted by barons on pillars. Probably the best quality of the level is that there is almost no respite until the end - as soon as you go into the building you are faced with a number of mancubi, and as soon as you kill them, the outer doors open and monsters begin flowing in from the area outside.

The architecture is simple but effective, creating a tricky battleground where the player is often running from place to place trying to keep things under control. Overall, a good fun short level.
