"Tang's Hideaway v2.4" is a single level for Doom 2. The style reminded me of the original Doom 2 level Nirvana; not a lot of detail, but a distinctive style at least.

This is a tough level. There is a cyber, lots of archvilles, and tons of other monsters packing this level throughout. Most of them are released in traps behind you, so you have to keep going back to find and clean up wandering archvilles. There is plenty of ammo, but you need it all at this kind of level.

However, the fights can get tiring after a while; there is a limit to how many archcilles and cybers that I want to fight at a level, and this level was over it :-(. The architecture is pretty boring; most of the level takes place in a set of dark stone tunnels; there are a few features which add some interest, but the level needs more detail.

There are also some very tacky places, like entire corridors with crushing ceilings, and the exit door is not marked clearly (good job I used LxDoom, so the map marked that line as a keydoor).

This level is a good challenge, but you can find many better designed levels.
